Shale Ridge opened its doors at the brink of the COVID-19 pandemic, embracing the uncertainty with determination and vision. The timing was both a challenge and an opportunity, and as we navigated the complexities of those initial years, a spark of innovation ignited within our team.
The Launch of OpenTable and the "Swing Table Experience":
In the spring of 2021, just one year after our opening, we introduced our exclusive reservation platform through OpenTable. A highlight of this platform was the introduction of our one-of-a-kind "Swing Table Experience." The buzz that followed was nothing short of extraordinary.
The allure of swinging gently while sipping on our farm-to-glass wine and ciders captured the imagination of our guests. The response was overwhelming, with all seven of our swing tables fully booked until the end of October. This unique draw became very exclusive, introducing Shale Ridge to a broader audience and enticing them to experience the beauty of the Ridge firsthand.
Humbled by the success of the Swing Table Experience, we embarked on a journey of expansion. Our new facility, a testament to our growth and dedication, has become a haven for thousands who seek an extraordinary tasting room experience. From our breathtaking atmosphere to panoramic views atop the Ridge, and our commitment to farm-to-glass wines and ciders, every detail reflects the heart and soul of Shale Ridge.
